Hope you don’t have to go here as a tourist. Really problematic to find. No signs and lots of roads that are closed. Nobody really listening and different opinions by different dokters. Only for dead threatening situations. Otherwise you will be directed to a
general practitioner. You have to pay immediately, but not all cards are working.

Just to draw blood:. Take number, wait, make ponskaart, take number again, wait 1 hour, register, go to other office to pay, wait. Go back to registration desk to show payment. Take number again to draw blood, wait.
In total 2 hours to draw blood. Very efficiently organized.
Hospital staff is very friendly though.

They need to work very hard for some nurse to get to know how to treat the sick ones in there.

I was admitted I this hospital and was really surprised how well it was run. The hospital and wards are old. Did not know there was a 1 and 2 class. I stayed in second class and I was really happy the way I was looked after by the nurses, staff and dotters. The room was nothing. But everything else was well organised and food was nice!
I would go back there if necessary but compliments! Thank you for looking after me!!!

After my father went into cardiac arrest on our cruise ship, we had to make an emergency stop in curaçao at St. Elisabeth Hospital to save his life. The surgeon did a miraculous job on him and our family is very grateful for him. The staff was very nice and comforted us as we sat with my recovering father. Without the kindness of these people, our stay in curaçao would have been nothing like it was. The hospital, although old, has some of the greatest doctors, students, and nurses I have met.

Inhumane experience, was in the hospital from 1pm, they told me they were admitting me at 6.30pm. Once they realized that they could get money they 'forgot about me' Left me lying in A&E without any food and nobody would tell me what was going on.
