phone never gets answered. emails never get answered. very very bad service
TERRIBLE! No phone number works!
This office has a phone number, but Never ever pick up the phone.
Set your expectations very, very, very low. Here are some things I encountered:
a) They're open a total of 17.5 hours in a given week.
a) Five in-person trips, three weeks to get a one-page letter with my address
b) Was told letter will be ready in "two weeks" (was not)
c) Was told I will be called when ready (was not called)
d) Security guard was present, but none of the staff. Was asked to try come back in "an hour" or "tomorrow".
e) Phone listed on website - does not get answered
f) Email listed on the website - does not get answered
g) WhatsApp number/chat listed on website - does not get answered

TIPS: Ask for and write down names and dates & times of everyone who makes you any promises. Cite these names and times when you come back for in-person check-ins once a week. Become a known and familiar person and signal to them that you do in fact need something important from them. Complain to the Ombudsman (even if the Ombudsman is powerless, at least it pressures the department to not be most complained-about department):
