Large parking lot. Retail stores. Public restrooms. Several restaurants and bars. Beach beds rental is reasonable. Beach area protected by breakwater. Nice spot but can get crowded.

Your experience here will depend on what you're looking for in a beach. It's busy and you to pay for chairs but, it's not expensive. There are many restaurants, shops, affordable drinks and a clean beach. It's surrounded by rocks, no waves, beautiful water & palm trees. There was a DJ playing salsa tunes. There were several topless sunbathers, families as well as 20s crowd. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic beach, this isn't it though!

Mambo beach blvd has a wide variety of restaurants, is on the waterfront and also has some interesting shopping. The evenings are vibrant with live music and beautiful lights

Entry fee just to walk around on the beach? And sitting on your towel isn't allowed? This is what commercialism will do to a beach. Tip: rent a car and visit the beaches to the west. MUCH better experience.

Very well kept man made beach. There's a rock barrier to break the incoming waves from the ocean, so the waves are relatively calm. Restaurants/coffee shops/boutiques are behind the trees and beach chairs along the beach.

Perfect beach for stay all day. Rich offer with shops, restaurants and bars. Everyone has big choice with food and place to stay. Prices for sunbeds are different - depends on bar/ restaurant. You can choose What you prefer - full sun or shadow under palmtree. Water is clean and light blue, sand is white. Mambo is the one of the best beaches at Curacao !

The place has truly great potential, but after you've gone once you've seen it all. Just a strip of restaurants really and the same type of music, ambiance and crowd all year long. There is never anything interactively exciting and I will no longer swim there after I saw with my own eyes that there is an outlet where the ocean water is being polluted by an up stream hotel.

Love this beach. Nice white sand, very clean and lots of amenities. Shopping area with lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of variety in the types of restaurants also. The beach is enclosed with a rock break so the water is very calm and not rocky at all. You can even walk on top of the break. Cost $7 US per person for entrance and chair.

Private beach (pay for your chair) behind a shopping center. Clean, plenty of parking, chairs, and umbrellas. Man-made barrier means calm water. Free and well-maintained bathrooms. Waiter service on the beach. Spent a pleasant late afternoon here.

Gorgeous paradise with lots to see and do. They have large rock wavebreakers in place so you can get into calm waters and relax. The sand is powder white and the water is clear enough to see to the bottom. Lots of shops, food, and music. My new favorite beach.

Great sheltered beach with its own discontinuous breakwater for clean water circulation. One can snorkel there along the breakwater and see coral fish. The beach has chair and towel services. A dozen restaurant options are available, including Mediterranean, italian, japanese, Indian and Mexican. Can be crowded in high season.

Best "tourist" type beach hands down!
You want an "island" beach, drive North if you want music, beach-chairs, food/drinks, free parking at 100meters from the water, this is the place to be.
$3.50 for beach access and $3.50 for a confortable beach chair worth every penny!
The water is like a natural pool, they blocked the waves with a natural stone wall.. snorkeling was not great, but the white sand and the comfort offered made for it.

Beautiful beach, entry fee is $3.50 but the facilities are worth it. Large shopping area and restaurants. You'll have an amazing day at this beach. This seems to be man-made, so there's no waves, you'll be swimming in a massive salty pool. There's inflatable games in the water and even a Starbucks.

Decent place with a good beach but very touristic. Good place to spend some time with family. Lots of food and drinks options available.

Mambo beach is great for what it is: a family friendly beach. It isn't the quietest beach, but there is a fun looking water play area for the kids, some shops and some decent places to grab a bite.

If you want to do some snorkeling, there are some OK spots. go out toward the breakwater, or some of the rocks closer to shore. There isn't much in the way of coral, but there are a fair number of colorful fish.

One of the best beach options in town. It's very trendy, well decorated and with ambient music all the time divided into different areas: electronic, chill out, etc. Choose between crystalline water in a bay or a very nice swimming pull. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants within this beach.

We had dinner there on my birthday and the staff was actually kind! They gave tour party of ten a free shot! That is always good. The place is kind of expensive but the food is good and nicely presented!

Visited in early July 2016. Everything you needed was right there! Great beach, many shops and restaurants to choose from, beachside service. It was a true escape from reality the way a vacation should feel, without a huge price tag.
