Beautiful resort with wunderful people. The location is outstanding and offers great apartment style rooms. Swimming is possible in the lagoon and the pool, other activities like kayaking are also available. The people are very friendly and helped with everything we needed. We will definitely return as soon as possible.

The hotel is okay; it has its perks and its downsides. It is not a fancy place, so if you are looking for niceness, this might not be the place for you. It is located infront of the lagoon so you have a nice deck /patio and quite a long stretch where you can chill and relax on the hammocks, and enjoy the view of the boats, go in the water, use one of the equipment (kayaks, etc). It also has a common pool and every apartment is separated. It is also pet friendly and you can find alot of guests who stay here with pets (plus point for the dogs who have place to stay, play in the water, etc).
On the downside, it is not very fancy as it has an "old school" look /furniture to it and the items can be seen that are old /rusted. But is is okay, as I was staying with a dog, I got a location where Gaby (my dog) could stay on the porch and we went down by the water to play. My 2 other colleagues had a fancier apartment (I had the studio), it was in the back with not much of a view. So it was okay. I guess it all depends what you're looking for.
It is also located in a relatively nice neighborhood, not much around though. 3/5 stars for me.response / report this review -

I can't believe how bad of an experience we had after reading all the good reviews. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night on our first night to find a new place to stay. A pillow looked like it had dried blood on it. The AC would not work, would constantly give an F3 code and shut down. There were stains on the bathroom floor and the toilet had a crack in the base. The shower head was hanging on the wall by one screw and wouldn't stand up on its own and the shower would not drain. This was not the place we booked, as the Silvia rudely showed us the place we did book, and then said we were upgraded for free to the room we were in. The room conditions were completely different. The place we actually booked, was clean and the shower looked like it actually worked. Yes, it didn't have as great of a view as the room we booked, but the upgrade was unlivable. She was rude, telling us we have bad intentions, which I'm really not sure how we could have any, as all we were doing was trying to cancel next morning and asked for a refund at the front desk and she got very hostile. Yes, we could have went to them first before finding a new place, but we went with the assumption that if this room is that bad and most of the place was empty, then the other rooms can't be any better than the room they put us in. This isn't our first time doing airbnb or similar websites in another country, and we had great experience at other places. If the room we booked, was the room we got, this wouldn't have been an issue. Unfortunately it wasn't. So be warned, you will not get your money back if you end up in the same situation we were in. Silvia is not a nice person. Luckily she isn't a good representation of the rest of the island.
