Definately a do not miss attraction. The thought of going didnt really thrill me but I was very glad i went. Friendly knowledgeable staff. They also give tours in more than one language.

If you like paying 20 USD for 20 minutes of a (although well led) guided tour, this is your thing. If not (like us), stay away. Taking photo's is overall not allowed since it's a "commercial cave", bluh.

The guide (I forgot his name) was great. Knowledgeable and funny. The caves were great. Photography allowed only in two chambers though.

Awesome caves. We have visited other caves that were better but when it comes to things to do on this island, I'll certainly rate it high because there is nothing much to see other than the caves.

Very good guide, inside the cave you enter another world. There are different chambers. One is called the fantasy room. It's a high temperature, a place to visit

You will not be disappointed in the tours offered here. The history is rich, the caves are beautiful. The staff is friendly. And there's a little scavenger hunt while you wait.

A must see. It's very old and family owned and operated. Because it is very old, the sights are limited, but the caves are a wonder and the way it is lit, amazes you. The live bats won't bother you and are also a sight to see with your own eyes. Even a picture won't do this place justice.

My expectations weren't high - hey it's a cave. I was really pleasantly surprised - this is an enormous and beautiful limestone cave system. It's well set up with lighting and walkways that allow you to go over 100 metres inside the cave. On the hour they run tours included with the price of admission, that are informative and interesting. Add this to your list of things to see on Curacao.

Hato Caves was AMAZING! It provided a reason to go to a side of the island we hadn't seen. It was a really cool historical learning experience, as well as providing really cool views of the inside of the caves. Our tour guide was fabulous, but I did get scared when we saw the bats. The woman inside the small concession booth was helpful as well. Not to mention, I could drink Curacao fruit punch forever & they sold it there. There were lots of little lizards running around the small cafe, and the snacks/beverages were not overpriced. Hato Caves is open on Sundays which is awesome, as not much of Curacao is. If you're going to Curacao & don't mind some extra humidity, definitely stop by the caves

Must visit on the island. Beautiful cave with different rooms, each with their own things to see. Very nice guides to take you around. Tours leave every hour.

Interesting to see but for my taste a bit to developed. The paved walkways and fans all the way through take away a little from the authenticity. Guide was very friendly and eager to answer questions

Great adventure. Our tour guide was very good. The story about slaves living there was very interesting. Please know there isn't a long set of steps you have to go up to get to the start of the tour. Once inside you will be amazed by the side of the rooms. Definitely worth seeing.
