Goedkope studio's/appartementen midden in Curaçao, centraal gelegen en eigen zwembad. Gastvrije eigenaren!

Geen goeie ervaring. Het was voordelig, maar dat was het wel. Werkelijk alles is vervallen en oud. Kiekjes die te vinden zijn zijn waarschijnlijk jaren geleden genomen toen het nieuw was, maar daar is nu weinig van over. Rotte houten leuningen bij de trap naar het appartement, de enige bank die je hebt die doorgezakt is en waar alle vulling uit is en je direct op de metalen veren zit, gebarsten tegels in het appartement of die missede tegels in het zwembad, verroeste koelkast, kast die bijna in elkaar zakt van ellende, afgebroken grepen bij de douchedeur, houtje touwtje stroom aangelegd naar lampjes in de badkamer en af en toe hondenpoep voor je appartement, omdat er twee honden los lopen.
Als dienst werd daarnaast via mail aangegeven dat bij het huren van een auto je op werd gehaald van het vliegveld, waar op terug gekomen werd vanwege tijdsgebrek. Als reactie op overleg voor het terug brengen naar het vliegveld was de reactie: "We zien wel even." Met meerdere zaken moeilijk communiceren en heel vrijblijvende antwoorden waar je niets aan hebt.

Not good! We were on a budget so our search was limited. We knew upfront Happy Turtle would be basic, so that was part of our expectation. We chose this apartment because of past reviews. Everything sounded great. Host and hostess were enthusiastic and everything was supposed to be clean.
Well to start with the good things, the apartments themselves were clean and were also roomy. So on these points, it wasn't bad. But that was about it. It lacked some basic things. First of all the fire prevention was bad. We rented 3 apartments and only one had a smoke detector. But that one didn't have batteries. Also, some other smalls things were missing. We reported this to the host and hostess and we think that our relationship with them went south from there on. The solution for the missing battery was removing the smoke detector altogether and for the other things, it was just ignored during our stay. They made some excuses, but that was not really credible.
One the end of the first week we were supposed to get clean sheets, and one room was missed by the maid. It took 3 days to get the sheets in that room cleaned. The kids were even complaining about it. They are 5 and 2 years old! Also, change of towels was a problem and went wrong on several occasions. The furniture was smelly and broke. There was dogshit on the premises and even a small amount of asbestos waste. The electric wiring was also something to be improved. I attached several pictures to go along with the review.
All in all, I would NOT recommend this place and I am surprised that is has this many good reviews.response / report this review -

Reeds 2 keer gebruik gemaakt van deze uitstekende locatie. Prijs/kwaliteit is uitstekend en de eigenaren zijn gastvrij en doen alles om je een plezierig verblijf te garanderen. Komen zeker weer terug!!!
