The one star is for the staff they are really friendly and quick. The second for the venue. We had the Caribbean fish cakes, the salmon and the chef's special. The food was super bland, and not fresh. Such an amazing venue but such a waste of money to dine here!

Just had a coconut lemongrass soup with shrimp but the whole Caribbean Asian Indian concept is amazing, quite and cozy atmosphere with great food. Would only make more vegan and vegetarian options available but apart from that, superb!

Had their tapas special, which gave us 8 tapas selections for $50usd for two people. Most of the dishes were good but not all. Avoid the fish cake and a fish skewer. The fish tikka masala was great, Singaporean rendang was good. Tataki tenderloin was excellent.

Service was spotty.

Great spot in the middle of the authentic Pietermaai District. Ginger has got a nice terrace area outside which is very atmospheric. The architecture is typical old Dutch which is great! The food is a nice mix of asian, caribbean and indian food with great taste. Go and visit this nice place!

Quickly seated and then forgotten. Later guests got drinks and ordered food - not even a first order after more than 30min was taken. Left frustrated.

Conveniently located with great sitting area outside. Friendly and pleasant staff. Ambiance was a plus. Food is Asian, Indian influenced well portioned but nothing too Caribbean. Jamican bread pudding was worth trying.
