We had breakfast here. It was on par with similar rated places. Similar menu and service as you find across the island.

Firstly, this place is NOT cash only. And incredibly easy to get to if you dock at a cruising port.
It has a great outdoor seating area on a nice plaza near the heart of Willemstad. You're surrounded by a bunch of dutch speakers and given a menu that has great Dutch (fried) food on it. My recommendations : get two snack sandwiches to split if you're craving Dutch junk food. Get one kroketten to eat with mustard & mayo and one frikandel to eat with mayo. I took off the top of my sandwich roll because its a lot of bread. Polish off with a Presidente or one of their local beers!response / report this review -

Nice casual place with a lot of space inside and outside to sit down for either just a drink or a meal. But the service sucks. We just had a drink and the drinks came quite fast but when the drinks were served I asked for an water, which never came. After half an hour when we were down for the drinks we asked for the bill which didn't came and after 20 mins or so we went to the front to pay there. While we waited for our change the waitress continued serving other people. Annoyed we just left. So two stars only because of the annoying service.

I gave it a 2 star only because the food was good. Service absolutely sucks. We were told to sit anywhere we would like, so we sat. 10 minutes later I had to flag a waiter down to just order drinks. Someone else brought them, mine was wrong. Another 10 to 15 minutes later I had to stand up to get someone's attention to order food, I would give them leeway here if they were busy. Maybe 10 total tables with people. Ordered our food. A table filled up next to us with some very nicely dressed local women. They where done eating before we got our food. No one ever came back to our table one time. Finally got food and it was good, finished our meals, after 15 more minutes of sitting there with empty drinks and napkins on plates we stood up and had to go in to bar area to tell someone I wanted to pay my bill. Would not recommend, unless you have a good hour to kill.

Großes offenes Restaurant mit Terrasse und nettem karibischen Flair sowie Live Musik am Wochenende. Typisch europäische Gerichte wie Pasta, Pizza, Steak aber auch mexikanisch und holländisch. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, alleine deswegen lohnt sich der Abend in Kombination mit der Live Musik schon. Das Essen ist nicht außergewöhnlich, aber war steht's sehr gut, es gab große Portionen und ist dabei sogar recht günstig. Absolut empfehlenswert.

We went here for lunch and both chose a baguette. Service was good & friendly and food came quick. It was topped quite rich and the ingredients looked fresh. Nothing spectaculair but just tasty and nicely garnished. Prices were between 11 and 25 nafl for lunch dishes which is reasonable.
