Now that they added electronic entry it is a breeze. Go online ahead of time or wait 5 hours when you get their. Rental car pick up is almost a mile away walking wise.

The airport should make it big like arubas airport that's how Curacao should be because Curacao is bigger then aruba so focks tell the people in the airport to make the airport big airport and add more gates and make it big like aruba pretty much similar to Arubas airport make it alittle bigger then arubas airport tough like adding more gates and whatever they should
And add gates A B and C aruba had gates A and B to thanks and also make Curacaos airport better then arubas airport tell the people from the airport to thanks and bigger and better thanks or you can make the airport like cancun mexico you can do a luxary airport very cool airport so that a lot of people come since curacao is a big island so yeah big you can do gates A B C D E and F and make it very nice please a lot of restaurnts shops thanks and also when it’s a very big airport you can do trains to the gates like Miami airport thanks so much 👍😉😊response / report this review -

Worst airport I've been 3 hours for passport control and hand luggage check. Just 1 person on immigration for 4 flights.

Quickly becoming one of the worst airports I’ve experienced in my many years of traveling. My mother went through two months ago and she spent an hour at customs after deplaning.
Then she and I flew out of there today and they had three large flights, as well as domestic flights all in line together at the same time, with around 12 people standing and doing nothing and not checking that anyone was getting to their flights on time. After checking in, security and customs took 1.5 hours to get through to get to our plane and we were there with ample time. The plane ended up being delayed because of their unorganized ineptitude which was directly related to the way the handle security and customs. Shake my head.response / report this review -

Beware of Curacao airport. If you are transiting on your way somewhere else, you have to go thru security again. And you lose the liquids you bought after security at your departure

I really like this airport. I don't understand why it has a lower average rating than the BGI/Barbados. Curacao's airport is cleaner, better organized, and has a nicer overall feel. A much more comfortable place than many I've been to in the Caribbean.

Small ,clean and Nice !! Generally no rush but at arrivals it may take time..Carry water bottles n Biscuits if you are outward bound ! .Being a seaman the benefit of just check in baggage helps a lot !!

I have not been there before but my church sends a group every summer for missions. They help with the VBS (vacation Bible school), and it is a true blessing to the children there as the VBS is in the slums. God bless yall this year and pray for this group going in July. Again God bless yall! ✝⛪☺

Airport sucks bigtime. Food is horrible, cold and made in some factories. Avoid to be in this airport. Namely: 5 star sports bar, and all the other fast food lanes. No paper on toilet. Plain rip off airport. Zero stars

Nice airport where you have everything you need. It's small but therefore also very easy in access and walks to everything. We traveled with hand luggage only which made it even easier. It has a quite open air concept, and it didn't feel over-secured as most other airports. We were welcomed with a smile!

Was literally a sh*t show as the toilets all broke. So did the baggage conveyer belt so many bags on our flight to Toronto didn't make it. After an hour delay in the airport, we were herded through to what we thought was the plane, only to see a bus waiting for us? They kept on cramming people down the escalator and stopping people at the bus, making for an interesting situation of human dominoes. We were delayed 2 hours because of the baggage sitauation- and due to Canadian law we had to go or the flight would be grounded. So we all sat anxiously on the tarmac for an hour until the captain of the Air Canada flight came out and told us what was happening and that the bags might be left behind. She was great and did the right thing..
Luckily my party's bags were on the flight-- one of maybe 60 bags on a full plane.
Sunday afternoon is apparently a nightmare every weel with all flights crammed in together. The airport itself is DIRTY. Do not order anything from the sports bar except drinks.response / report this review -

They do a bag check on everyone while boarding the plane - incredibly inefficient and they mess up your packing and hurriedly zip your case, catching clothing in the zipper completely unaware they are tearing holes in your clothing, ruining things NOT IMPRESSED! Not to mention the USD 3 bottle of water you just bought will need to be thrown out at that time too because the bag check during boarding is where they check your liquids are not more than 100mL.
Clearly this process is because they don't have the infrastructure in place to secure the waiting areas or the food/drinks sold there; however, they should at least warn you this is the case especially by the vendors after "security" who charge you an arm and a leg for drinks they know you can't bring on your flight. I went through our airport last week and there were signifficant approvals.
The check in ballie airconditioned, nicely treated at the bally, went through e-security in a sec.
On returning e-checking fast and easy.
There are still work in progress for more improvements. I am impressed.response / report this review
