Pizza vegetare and the vegan Burger are very good.

The pasta and aubergine dishes were very good. The service was a little slow. It looked like they needed an extra waiter.

Perhaps the best food in Santa Maria. Finally food that taste something! Really good hamburger with beef and sausage. Also good coffee and desserts. Perfect sangria!

I had dinner at this place with my wife we took lasagna, Bolognese, local wine Fogo Island. All very good in a relaxing atmosphere with nice staff. Cozy and renovated restaurant. All very good

quality of service highly depends on waiter. generally slow service, not enough salt, curry is terrible, pasta is okay. the "big" beer was half foam, waitress did not do anything about it and came up with a lame excuse. cheese cake is good though

Slowest service ever!!! Even if half empty, they manage take 50 min to bring me the 8 euro vegan burger which looks better than it tastes

I like this resturent, it's possible to get some vegan food witch is hard to come by down here.
And the price compared too the other places i've been on this vacation is in the cheap end.
I will warn you it's not fast food by any stretch. It takes some time to get the food after you order, but it's worth the wait. :)response / report this review -

Great food, vegetarian and vegan options which are hard to come by here. Freshly prepared food of a high standard. The only drawback was the food took a while to arrive but worth it when it did. Free WiFi also. Vegan burger is recommended.

Italian restaurant for Italian lovers of food. Valeria is a hidden gem in Cape Verde and the place where I get my daily coffee. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. Fresh pasta, homemade soup and tasty desserts.
Every Sunday I go for lunch and dinner as it's close to my apartment. Try the wines too!response / report this review -

Too expensive, overpriced for the small portion. Ordered a octopus in Capverdian style but end up with European dish. Too european for an "african destination" very disappointed. But clean and nice decorations.

Great Italian restaurant with a very nice staff..I was there several times for a quick lunch in between diving and it was perfect. Try the bacon/cheese burger and the pizzas!

A great restaurant, a bit off the centre of Sal. Friendly personal, cosy interior and a nice dog. The food is good. A bit more creative compared to the mostly "fish/meat/pasta" restaurants in the centre. Would definitely come back again.

First impression; nice people and very cosy looking restaurant. Food tasted excellent, but very small portions. The lasagne was still cold inside, so not fresh, but frozen food. Very disapointing.
