Chez is small but a very friendly restaurant. Service and the food was 5* .We will be definitely be visiting again soon.

Highly recommend place to visit when you're in Sal. Lively atmosphere, great place to mingle with the locals. And the beach is superb!

Well worth taking a stroll here after breakfast to see the local fishermen bringing home their catch. You can watch them fillet and sell the fresh fish and Tuna at 4 euros for a kilo

Beautifull and authentic place. Definitely worth visiting. The beach next to it is nice and one can easily spend the whole day in there. Several bars and restaurants nearby. Plenty of kind stray dogs.

Lovely clean beach with soft yellow sand, stunning sea and a pier crammed with locals selling fish. The beach is getting busier as tourism to Sal increases but there is always lots of space. There are restaraunts and bars all along the beach front; a little expensive but perfectly nice. There is surfing & paddle boarding, kite surfing further along the beach and even a small gym on the sand.
You do have to get past lots of locals and Senegalese selling their wears and people trying to get you to go to the 'special market' where their mother will try to sell you wooden turtles and banana tree baskets at extortionate prices. However they are very nice and don't mind you saying no politely and you will probably get a better bargain on your way back from the beach in the evening.

One of the only "different spot" on the beach, beautiful view over the sea with the sailing boats, locals fishing and cleaning their catch. A good spot to jump into the sea Would go if was nearby but not worth a journey across the island

Fantastic to see the fish caught by locals being cut up ready for sale to the community and restaurants, red snapper, flying fish, squid, huge tuna, tornado, spotted more I eels wow.

My first time in Cape Verde and what a wonderdhl experience. Sol Dunas is an amazing hotel and I had a private apartment and payed for all inclusive. Great food and atmosphere

great place where you get to see the local man offloading just caught fish and the women preparing the fish- size of some tunas was just shocking these fish are massive!
you can buy fresh fish cheap knowing you are supporting the locals

Really liked to visit this pier but to be honest there's not much there accept for fisherman's wives cleaning the days catch, divers and day trippers heading out. Lovely little beach there too. Definitely worth a visit.

Fun place to visit where the fishermen come in with fish, which is cleaned and sold on the pier. Also good snorkeling under the pier, where you see blowfish! Be careful with the waves though!

Very relaxed scenery. Take your best photos of the beach from the pier. It is well worth it. You can also see the fishermen come in with produce.
