Small eatery with good food. Dish of the day (fish) for 3 Euro. You can't beat that.

Ignore the pretentious reviews of some posh westerners. This is a local restaurant, serving local food. The wine is super cheap, the tuna and chicken steaks had a great curry marinade. This place is a great find! If you want silver service and your back scratched, go to the Hilton. If you want good local food, look no further. This isn’t 5 star but I had to give that rating to make up for some of the ridiculous, low reviews. Enjoy!

I was with a group of 9 persons, we were recommended to this place, but it was a truly disappointment. About one and half hour to be served, while locals were being served quite fast. We didn't order anything special, simply fish, which to be honest, was very poorly served. At the end, when giving feedback upon the service in a very constructive way, the answer was it was due to many persons at the restaurant. Cherry on the top of the pie was the payment change We received a 200 Escudos bill that seemed like it was "ruined". We couldn't use it anywhere else. It was left for the kids in the beach.
I CANNOT recommend this place at all. Stay away if you can!!!response / report this review -
