We had a great day with Elvis Tours today, touring around the island of Sal.

Our guide, Nadyr was very knowledgeable and chatty and drove carefully enough with 6 people sitting in the back of the pickup! We went all over the island and of particular interest was the school in the shanty town. To say these people are poor is an understatement. But they are also happy, hardworking and care for their families.

We had raided our hotel dining room for fruit for the children and made a well received donation.

Our photographer did an amazing job throughout the day and somehow managed to put all the photos on a DVD film whilst bumping along the dirt roads!

This tour might be cheaper than Tui but richer in content (we did the Tui one last year). Thank you for a fun, informative and thought provoking dayit was brilliant.

Brilliant! Highly recommend using Elvis tours whilst here, we did the island tour with them and loved every minute. We chose them from seeing other reviews and were not disappointed, Elvis is a lovely friendly guy and you feel at ease straight away. Our guide was Nadyr, who was brilliant! He was so knowledgeable about everything we did and you could tell he has a passion for the island and their customers. He is a very friendly, funny guy who knows everyone and makes it such an enjoyable day. €25 and we left at 9am returning at 530pm! So well worth every penny, we saw the blue eye floated in the salt lakes, paddled with the lemon sharks, saw the mirage and visited the children in the shanty town which were all brilliant. The driving was safe and courteous and made you feel nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for helping make our honeymoon so special with a great day out.

Had an absolutely brilliant day doing the island tour , we really couldn't have asked for a better day. It is definitely worth doing and Elvis tours were brilliant from the first time we spoke right up until we actually left on our last day. I was hesitant to book with someone other than the holiday company however I couldn't be happier that I did. If your looking for a great day out for amazing value compared to the holiday companies look no further - you won't regret it

What an amazing day with these guys Nadyer and Feliz where full of knowledge funny and truelly have a love for their island the experience was superb from the blue eye to the kids in the shanty town can't recommend these guys and Elvis enough if you are in the area give these guys a go you won't be disappointed thanx again guys

Could recommend enough! TUI were asking for 75€ each, they took people to the Blue Eye and the tide was out! Elvis tours are awesome! Adilson was amazing! He really looked after us. He was really informative and really did show us the entire island. Don’t book with massive corporate companies, Adilson and Elvis will look after you better than any other, you will see stuff with them you will never get to see with TUI and at a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much, you made our holiday xx

If you are going to take an island tour make Elvis your first choice . We covered the whole island seeing the blue eye , the mirage , lemon sharks , salt lake , natural swimming pool etc. We paid 25 euros each and the trip was worth every cent and Elvis was full of information about the island . We found the same trip in the hotel for 75 euros each and on our day we saw them rushing through from venue to venue , we however were invited to take as much time as we liked at each stop . I have no doubt we will be using Elvis for another trip while here . You may see other sellers but insist on Elvis tours you won’t be disappointed .

We have very nice tour with Adilson. We visited all the island points of interest and had a very delicious lunch in a local restaurant in Espargos. Happy to see the sharks and other beautifull places. We learned a lot about Cape Verdian people, how they live, problems, successes they have, football teams

I strongly recommend the tour to anybody intrested to explore Island of Sal.

Few suggestions for improvements:

During the tour provide more information about the history of Cape Verde and Sal will be beneficial.

I think also it is good to think about to include in the agenda on this tour or to offer another tour with more cultural activities - Cape Verdian music, local manners, traditions, local food (lunch was great), livelyhood, local sports

Had a fantastic all day tour on the 8th June. Visited all the sites of the island with our knowledgeable and amusing guide. Loved floating in the salt water pool and paddling with the sharks. Had a great day with a great bunch of people and riding in the pickup added to the adventure. Would definitely recommend.

We saw many parts of Sal during our tour and I really appreciate all the information and the places we got to see, but also the ”small things” - like when he stopped the car to show us the cottonflower� I really recommend Elvis Tours if you want to see the real Sal��

We went with Elvis on this amazing tour. We saw the whole Island. We did a lot of things like floating, standing between sharks and see the blue eye and of course swimming. During this tour Elvis gave the best explanation about Cabo Verde. He knows this place the best! Elvis was Always smiling and enthousiast, it makes this tour unbelievable. Next year we definitively come back and do this tour again with Elvis!!!

Had theee most amazing day! Nastiest the guide was just great. I am here as a lone traveller and was made to feel very much included! Saw the Blue Eye! paddled with the sharks! Got a bit of history! Watering holes were just right! Floated in the volcanic crater salt mine pool. Amazing!!! I have one complaint.it is said that after floating in the salt lake your appearance lessens by 10 yearssadly when I looked in the mirror this morning that was not the case!!!!!!! Seriously a truly great day. You will find Elvis near the Funana entrance onto the beach. Great price and great value!
