Cheap and fast, also to take away. I had the dish of the day, which was pasta with tomato sauce and some clams for 6 Euro, including a beer and dessert. Not bad.

Just prefect for what it is - a no thrills lunch / quick byte. The "daily dish" - main + drink + desert at really good price (6 Euros) - was my go-to lunch for a whole week I was here. Expect basic fare (e.g. fried chicken leg, rice, fries and salad) but good value for the money. Desserts (e.g cheesecake) can't be faulted. Service is quick (by Cap Verde standards.), relaxed, and with a smile.
Also noted the place is popular with locals as well during lunch / afternoon - and that should say something.

One of the best restaurants in town. The caldeirada de price is excellent. They have a special menus of the day with local price level! And a lot of good desserts. And free and good WiFi.

This place is at the end of the main strip so commonly overlooked. It doesn't look like much but the food is just as good, if not better than the main tourist traps and at great value. We had one of their daily specials at lunch which was grilled chicken, cos, rice, salad, drink and desert for 6 euros. The chicken was some of the best I've EVER had and the banana cake for desert was amazing! Best value and food that we had in Sal!

E' un posto carino, informale, semplice. Il caffè è ottimo, i piatti giusti e a buon mercato. Se si vuole mangiare un boccone velocemente è perfetto.

Non é un posto particolarmente attraente ma offre veramente una buona qualità in tutti i piatti. A me é piaciuto particolarmente il busio, un mollusco tipo del luogo, buoni anche i dolci.
