I cannot recommend Ludi (Ludisis) and Yalorde Yoga enough. My birthday is January 2nd, so for travel plans I chose the 7 day New Year Dance, Hatha Yoga, and Cultural retreat. From the outset I knew we were in good hands- Ludi was very attentive and responded thoughtfully and with clarity to each and every question we had along the way. Travel to Cuba from the US at the time was very up in the air, and Ludi made us feel at ease while booking. Also, the travel package in general is such a great deal- Ludi has such a wonderful relationship with so many vendors and excursion related items that she is able to price things, super super reasonably.

Every time I think about my trip to Cuba I can’t believe we fit so much into one week! Ludi really is an expert planner. Even though there was a lot of travel time involved, Ludi planned it for early morning departures, so we could catch some Zzz’s while en route. It was great to truly experience Cuba! Instead of just Havana, we truly saw SO many parts of Cuba- we genuinely traveled the country! It is honestly hard to just pick one highlight- I loved literally every moment of the trip. One of the most special aspects of the trip was being invited into Ludi’s family’s home for New Years Eve- we got to celebrate as a local! Memories I will cherish forever.

Other top moments were: clubbing in a cave after strolling in the historic Trinidad art district all day, morning yoga at the beach followed by hiking in Topes de Collantes Natural Park, and going to Valley of Vinales for a Tobacco farm tour and an INCREDIBLE farm-to-table lunch. Speaking of… the food was also amazing, wherever we went we had wonderful service and even better food! My travel companion is a vegetarian and she had no issues getting great food that met her dietary restrictions.

Again, I cannot recommend Ludi and booking with her enough- you will be talking about your Cuba trip FOR YEARS! My friend and I even plan to go back on a private tour (our first trip was with a small group of people we did not know) with Ludi one of these days!

You will enjoy the beautiful city of Havana more with a tour guide who really appreciates the beauty and culture of her city. Ludisis will bring you to the best places where you can enjoy the nice side of Cuba. She knows the cultural hotspots, places to have a good meal, and where to go dancing and meet the locals.

Ludisis is educated as a classical dancer, tourist guide and yoga teacher. She has lived and traveled in various countries. Ludisis as a guide is trustworthy, punctual, cultured and fun to be with. Ludisis understands the subtle difference between making you a plain tourist and making you a partaker of the local culture.

The instructors are what make this a truly unique experience! Every detail was so carefully planned, though they were open and willing to accommodate individual preferences and modifications.

Because of the small group and the thought that was put into every detail, I felt that I experienced Cuba in a very different and personal way. As a native Cuban and because of the love that she puts into her work, Ludi is exceptional.

She offered insights that I don’t think I would have experienced otherwise. As a team, Ludi and Gunther work together to ensure the guests are happy and attended too always. They make a great team.
