It isn't a bad resort by any means, though the buildings and grounds are a bit run-down looking in places. But the beach is quite nice, lots of palm trees and there are friendly helpful staff. The food is so-so, but in an abundance and better and cheaper than many of the restaurants outside the villa, plus with the lunch or dinner you get one free beer or pop drink included. My wife and I had a most enjoyable week nonetheless. I only wish that they had snorkeling/ scuba equipment for diving, though they did mention a nearby beach which had diving facilities.

Preety bad. But I guess houses in Cuba tend to be poor anyhow.
My first house I lived in had two beds, both with no blankets, no sheets. And there were cracks everywhere. So we decided to move.
My second house was better, two beds with sheets but no blankets. There were ants and cracks everywhere. Well at least it looked well on the outside
So the only thing I could say was somewhat good was the beach and food. The food was memorable, especially the juice. However, there were flies everywhere. That was the resturant. The actual good restaurant was the stand, which they would deliver to your house. We were good friends with the deliverer.
Then theres the beach, the beach was good and warm.
And then theres the somewhat good stuff.
The pool was somewhat good, but it was like a clean swamp.
The trip to Havana city is somewhat good 25 for a ticket.
And thats it, my horrible experience here. The only thing I actually remember here is the juice I drank. Its been 2 years since I came hereresponse / report this review -

Muy malo el servicio a las casas que se encuentran fuera de la villa. Todos los dias amaneciamos sin agua y la pipa llegaba a las 3 pm. La piscina muy sucia y llena de lino y cierra a las 6 pm.

Quite modest, but still the beach is near and the hotel area is pleasant. Not too far from the center of Havana.

The terrible trip I ever had in my life, the location is the worse far from the city, when you take cab it cost 25USD or you have to wait for the bus to take you dontown, especially the security stuff of the hotel, the girls got already checked in with ID, and we would ask everywhere around the hotel about your room number.. My package was for a week but I just stayed there for two nights :(

i travel there 2 times just to look i like the location the men are fixing the place up like new 2014 very frendly good prices .i bycicle or snorkle its a good location for this there is old man on the beach with snorkle & surf stuff . the near by places are poor but interesting if u like walking or bycicle its fun & exciting.i may stay there 2015 last year i was at tropococo i like that old place to.
