Property Description
At Villa Alondra the second level is completely independent for clients. . It is distinguished by its open spaces, ventilation and clarity. Italian ceramic floor and its bathrooms, covered almost to the ceiling, give us the feeling of being in one of the cleanest places of the area. The owners of this place are doctors, medical specialists. They have traveled through several countries and have met other cultures.
The house is located in 42th Avenue, between The Benny Moré music School and a Day Care center, near to de General Hospital of Cienfuegos. Also de bus station, malecon and Prado are just a minutes by feet.

Cultivated, friendly, considerate hosts
Our stay at the Villa Alondra remains one of the highlights of a three-week trip to Cuba. The owners, Osbel and Sandra, are both ophthalmologists, working in the hospital just across the way. They are cultivated and reflective people, and we were pleased and grateful to have actual conversations that went beyond the usual travel trivialities. The place was pristine, and the shower the best we've had. Orquidea, the excellent cook, was kind and warm, and sensitive to our preferences, and even gave us a gift of the guava jelly we liked so much, to take back to the US. There was even a separate, dedicated space to wash and dry laundry. What more could one ask for?! Our overall good feeling about Cienfuegos is anchored in the sweetness we tasted in staying with these lovely people.response / report this review
