  Cine Teatro Payret. Cine teatro ubicado en La Habana. Fue inaugurado en 1877 y reconstruido en varias ocasiones a lo largo del siglo XX. Fue de los primeros teatros de Cuba en presentar películas y en la década de 1930 fue conocido como “La Catedral del Cine Español”.

  Across the street from the Gran Teatro, and is one of the largest cinemas around.
  It is the main venue for the Havana Film Festival, and for the XII Havana Biennale, it hosted a video piece by Anish Kapoor.
  In the lobby, there is a bronze figure called ‘Illusion’ by Rita Longa, one of Cuba's foremost sculptors.
