Beautiful! Grabbed the bus in front of Inglaterra Hotel in Havana for a round trip to the beach. Last bus back to the city is at 6PM.

Great beach and mix of humanity. Bring whatever you want onto the beach as far as food and drinks go. 2 CUC per bed and umbrella, so 2+1 runs you 6 CUC for however long you need it for that day.

Nice beach. I think it's as good as the beaches in Varadero. Bus service for 5 cuc. You can run into small bands from time to time, giving you a small concert for a few pesos. Long chairs and umbrellas are available, there are also people who can bring you food and/or drink. Be aware, there are no changing rooms.

In and around Havana there are no beaches so it was nice to see a beautiful beach while in Cuba. However, the water was so choppy that you were not allowed to swim and the beach was littered with garbage. I recomend the coconut rum drinks that are sold on the beach.

It is a great place to visit, walk, eat. Negotiate $10 with taxi. Or take a T3 bus from central park for $5 round trip

Great beach went May 1-7 and September 3 - 13 ,,,Yes I had a hell of an experience with Irma the hurricane The airport's closed Friday 8 to Wednesday the 13th But I still had a great time..

Beautiful beach! Be sure to get chairs and an umbrella which are only 2 CUC each. The food and drinks before the beach are delicious and inexpensive as well.

We took tourist bus from parque central in Havana for 5 CUC(round trip, per person). It took us 30-35 min to get from Havana to the beach. Chairs were 2 CUC(per chair) water was nice. You could get soft drinks/coconut/beer for 1-1.5CUC from small bar next to the bus stop at the beach.

Great beach! You can rent beach chairs for a couple of dollars and order drinks on the beach. Very lively! It cost us $15 (CUC) each way to be driven here from Old Havana in an old car.

The best beach closest to Havana. If you plan a trip here it's good to get there early in the morning if you want to get a good spot cause around 10:00-11:00 AM the place gets crowed quickly. We lost our chairs when we were looking for a place to eat, so the best thing to do is to order food from the person who got you the chairs.
