It's a very good place to start your Cuban experience. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. The food is good and don't hesitate to communicate any special wishes that you might have, they'll be more than happy to meet your standards. Ask for Damian or the waiter with retainer in his teeth.( sorry don't remember your name)

This place was amazing. We were greeted with musicians and they played The whole time. Food was great and the bathrooms clean. The atmosphere was friendly and lively. Will go back for sure.

I really wanted to like this place, but it's a tourist trap. Inflated prices: check. Food that's mediocre at best: check. Service that says, "We couldn't care less": check. Lots of tour guides and taxi drivers use this place, so if your driver wants to bring you here, then I'd ask to go elsewhere.

We had a chance to eat at this restaurant last February and all I can say is WOW excellent service fantastic food (prices were great) and the owner treated us like extended family. We plan on going back again this February .. ***** 5 stars

When you are in Cuba, one must use the Cuban Star System. Having said that, I rate it 4 Star. La Casa is the first private restaurant in Cuba. They began serving their fine dining in 1995. When you dine at La Casa there is a mariachi bands playing Cuban music.The atmosphere was nice and the service was very good compared to other restaurant of this type. My diner at La Casa was on my last night in Cuba and I can honestly say the food and the servings were above average. The price if fair compared to other restaurants in this range.
