  Definitely loved it there. Very welcoming and friendly stuff. Bar is great and so is the food rooms are big enough for 2 and clean. Great location to walk around.

  Ordono is one of the finest places to stay in eastern Cuba (maybe all of Cuba). This hotel is a restored Spanish mansion opened three years ago. You'll be greeted by a cool towel and a refreshing drink after your lengthy travel to this small seaside community. Prior to Ordono the hotel choices were limited in Gibara but no longer.
  
  Please note if you're looking for an all-inclusive noisy buffet and bar style experience, skip Ordono. However if you're looking for classic Spanish elegance from Cuba's past, local family restaurants and a small -town quiet escapeskip the insanity of Guardelavaca and visit Gibara.
  
  When you arrive say hello to Hector at the front desk and ask him to book a hiking guide for you to the nearby underground​ caves. Enjoy the elegant rooms (I'm rating them an A), unusually attentive staff and a journey back in time to old world Spanish elegance amidst a small fishing village atmosphere.

  Super schön renoviertes Hotel in Gibara. Tolle Lobby mit Bar. Auch wenn man sonst wo in Gibara übernachtet, auf einen Drink sollte man da reinschauen.

  We only stayed the one night at this hotel but it was full of character and charm. Beautiful hotel with friendly service. Highly recommended
