This place is amazing. I know it seems at first a bit strange going to a Russian restaurant in Cuba. Give it just a moment of thought and you’ll realize the cultural and historical significance of what makes a visit here an essential part of any trip to Cuba. We were so incredibly lucky to meet the chef and speak with her a little bit. My friend and I spoke to her in his/my parents native Russian and expressed our deepest gratitude for having had the opportunity to eat such authentically prepared dishes that took us right back to our parents dinner tables.
This place has it all, food, views, ambiance. The chicken Kiev, Olivia salad, pilmeni, perrogies, and shashlik are all must haves. Our only regret was not having room for more, or time to come back any try other items on the menu.
We absolutely recommend this restaurant to anybody who needs a good old fix of some home made Russian cooking, and to any culinary enthusiast, foodie, or general adventurer.

This was a good restaurant/paladar. The food was authentic and tasty. This is definitely one of the better restaurants to eat at when in Habana! The view and the service were pretty amazing!

Probably my favorite meal in Havana with the food pretty authentically Russian and the drinks were strong! Also, took me back to childhood when I grew up in Soviet Union! Get the potato salad (olive'ye), dumplings (pelmeni) and stuffed cabbage (golubtsi).

Best Restaurant in Havana!! This restaurant has great food, the view is fantastic and is inspired by the USSR. Trust me you want to go here if you want good food, the Shashlik was AMAZING!!!

True Soviet spirit alive in Havana. The borscht and pelmeni were cooked almost as well as my mother-in-law's, and they had an amazing chocolate chip honey cake. My waiter Alexandr spoke Spanish, Russian, and English with me. It's a heck of a unique place.

Wonderful place in the heart of havana with breathtaking views of Malecon and El Morro. Great alternative to the traditional caribbean cuisine.

Good food, & service. Inside the air condition is strong enough. But we sit on balcony for cigars after dinner. Very nice view specially for Sunset!

Location! Location! Location! Absolutely stunning. And the food is great. This restaurant is a delightful surprise. We are always looking for interesting or offbeat places to experience. The traditional sausages and borscht were wonderful and the eggplant slices with a cheesy topping had a very fresh, unique taste. I'm guessing you won't find the the very dark rye bread anywhere else in Havana either.
