After five days of terrible resort food, my girlftiend and I were hungry for real authentic Cuban food, both figuratively and literally! Linda Luna was exactly what we'd hoped for and more. We had the lobster salad to start (mayonnaise and ketchup were odd, but typical of the latin tropics) and then a plate of gtilled octopus and what they said was a half lobster, but I'm not sure what more they could have given. The mojito sauce was explosively flavorful, packed with garlic and bright acidity that we basically poured it on everything and then maybe drank it straight. Best was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts, who happily invited us into their kitchen to show them how to make micheladas. After the meal, we were invited again to speak to the mama (head chef) who invited us to her son's upcoming pig roast and even offered to buy a pig to roast for us should we be able to come back. Such a sweetheart, and really reminded us that dining in Cuba isn't just about food but about sharing an experience with close ones, even if they were up till then strangers. Definitely the highlight of our whole vacation. 10/10 would go back. Cannot recommend enough!
