  Felt a bit nervous pulling up to it, but instantly relieved. Can't imagine how annoyed the musicians are playing Guantanamera repeatedly, as they are excellent musicians. Flan is delicious; crema de queso is delicious. Tostones con una sorpresa are apparently quite typical, very crunchy and presented in a lovely way with generously-strewn cheese.

  I've seen the one negative post, and am assuming that the restaurant had an "off" night or "off" meal, but I personally have been there many times with both Cubans and with tourists and nobody has ever been anything but pleased! As for the "everything bathed in butter" comment I can't relate and certainly find it surprising as butter can be really hard to find in Cuba (for locals) and it's hard to convince me that it would be used to excess in ANY restaurant there. For me, if I do return to Santa Marta this is the #1 place to which I would head!

  Nasty ass food , bathed in butter !!!! Any one that says this place has great food is only from Cuba ..piña colada was great though , high light of the night 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 over cooked. Burnt. Sooooooooo sooooooo much butter everything was soaked in it ..the dogs in the alley wouldn't even eat it hahahaahahahahaaaha.

  The food is excellent, lobster and shrimp was perfect. we visited there twice on our last trip to cuba. Highly recommend

  Delicious food shrimp beef and lobster and rice amazing atmosphere great people and musicians were fabulous!!!! Tiki torches and open air BBQ spot!!! Best place on the island for dinner!!!
