What an experience. The musicians are so talented. I stayed for both sets. Such talent and positive energy. I was so captivated by the musicians. Definitely ranked in top 5 experiences in Cuba.

Great Jazz bar where we had the chance to see great Jazz jams and great performers.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is a Jazz music lover!

An awesome jazz club. There's a really genuine feel here, it's very cool to see all the local Cuban talent. There a few gems out there for sure. The venue is tad small, but the overall ambience makes up for it.

the band is incredible. the food and drinks are really bad. i believe there’s only waitress for the whole place, so the service is really slow, she’s nice though.

Nice, authentic Jazz club. Local talent and nice cocktails. Very small and a bit crammed, so make sure to be early for a concert to gain some decent seating. People will line up for at least an hour. So be there at 10 if the show starts at 11pm.

SECOND TIP..At end of first intermission be on the lookout for guests that are leaving..a chance to grab a better seatif u don't I guarentee u someone else will
Food is limited ham ..cheese..

The best part of this place is the entrance. You go into an English style phone booth and then down stairs to the underground club. The music here was really mediocre. I was surprised by this because there is a lot of great music in Cuba. The service here is horrible. Good luck getting a drink when you want it. Just wait patiently and eventually Hailey's Waitress will return. It is crowded and a little dirty. As a tourist, I guess you should not miss this place but don't expect much.

I’ve been going to La Zorra y El Cuervo regularly for nearly fifteen years and it has gone significantly downhill recently. Management no longer runs the club with respect for the music as its main priority. Now it is one more stop for tourists. On a recent night, the club was overfilled—not enough seats for everyone they let in—creating noise, blocked sight lines, and distraction. A significant percentage of the patrons were obviously not interested in the music and there was a good deal of conversation. The club no longer accepts individual reservations, only from tour groups.
The level of the music has declined as well. Top names appear only 4-5 times a month, and even they are not playing their A-level music. This is not to say their level of musicianship has declined, of course, just that they don’t seem to be playing for a jazz-loving crowd.
On top of all this the cover has gone up 50 percent, to 15 CUC.
Some people call La Zorra y El Cuervo a typical jazz club. Unfortunately that is now truer than ever.response / report this review -

TINY venue with loads of atmosphere and excellent jazz!
Go early or on a weekday to avoid the crowd and to get a table. Sightlines are a bit of a challenge and some tables don't have a great view. HOWEVER the sound is superb, my kudos to the engineer who mixes the room. They do an amazing job of making sure that you can hear the show from any spot in the room.response / report this review -

Great bands and amazing NYC style Jazz. Super cozy atmosphere place seats abt 50 at tables and abt 10 at bar. *DRAWBACK* overcrowded is an understatement. The table and sitting arrangement are absoutely inadequate for the space and the people willing to go in. We got there at 9:50 (place opens at 10) and waited 45 minutes in line of 80 strong to get in. When we were let in about 25 mins later we were told to stand all the way in the back by a wall. If you go with more than 2 people and later than 10pm you might as well forget about it (unless you go there at 9 and wait) Just go to the JAZZ CAFE further up in Vedado, which has plent of room standing or sitting.

Best music we experienced while in Havana and you know there is fabulous music everywhere. It is a little loud next to the stage and the AC blows very hard on the middle two tables, but otherwise this place was a total joy. Great value for 10 CUCs including two drinks.
