It's an unpretentious small hotel on the beach at the end of the peninsula. Rooms are decent size with comfortable beds, somewhat loud but effective air conditioner. Our room had a balcony with retractable awning overlooking the beach. There's a fridge and flat TV which we didn't use. Bathrooms are ample and clean.
The restaurant/bar has outdoor patio and they make great mojitos at reasonable prices, though sometimes with ants. The hotel and wait staff aren't particularly friendly but that's typical socialism style; otherwise they do their job well.
The only complaint is that the water in the bay is of the brownish variety unlike the cerulean of the nearby cayos.response / report this review -
