Pepe is amazing..but don't believe a word he says.. the three of us all heard the price he announced for the minibar drinks and in the end he charged us 5 times more. Beware of bed bugs.. some of us got them.

Nice "family house", very friendly, not far from the city center. Quiet neighbourhood.
Saturdays morning there is a street fair, with local farmers selling their products.
English speakers.
If you came in a big group, there is no problem, because they are 3 hostals, together (6 rooms)

Curata e spaziosa casa coloniale a pochi passi dal bel centro storico di Cienfuegos. Dileys, la proprietaria della Casa Particular, è preparata e competente, parla un ottimo inglese e vi accoglierà con calore e simpatia al vostro arrivo. A richiesta - come molte Casa Particular - vi preparerá una colazione abbondante e varia. Assolutamente raccomandato per la gentilezza e professionalità dei padroni di casa!

The perfect place to visit Cienfuegos and be able to discuss in English with a very nice cuban family. And the food was delicious!
Ask for a driver for going to see the flamingos and the castle!

Very beautiful colonial house by which we are impressed upon entering. Large room with high ceiling and very clean bathroom with big soap offered and a hairdryer (the only hairdryer we had in Cuba..). Breakfast with huge varieties. Hosts speak very well English and we were kind of happy to have a small break from trying to improving our Spanish since our arrival. The only drawback is the water flow is extremely weak (it's generally weak in Cuba but this is the weakest we had) that is really difficult to take a proper shower. Easy wifi connection directly from casa.
