We all bought perfume to take home here! So many beautiful smells + you get to pick your own bottle. They will seal it up so that it stays intact on plane flights home.

Very nice place to visit and waste your time. Perfumes smells nice but duration of perfumes is terrible. I bought 3 different but make a big mistake. If you like to much any of these perfumes buy only one and smallest, because they are no for real use, after one hour the smell dissappear.

I've searched NYC, LA and London for such a place, but this is the first time I've found it, and it's even better than I anticipated. What you have in this small shop on the Mercaderes is ~12 traditionally extracted plant essences (lavender, violet, tobacco), and ~19 other extracts (citrus, etc), all available to smell on strips or on the skin. You can purchase extracts in a range of different containers, from small vials up to large (very old style) chemist flasks, that are absolute beautiful, especially when corked and sealed in wax. You can also consult with a perfumist who learns your preferences and attitudes and helps you to find a perfect combination of ingredients for your unique scent. All of this takes place in a beautiful old laboratory lit with natural light from a massive stained glass window, coloring a water feature in the back of the shop.

Old time shop for perfumes, with locally made products, nothing from big brands, it is an interesting place if you have some spare time

Beautiful shop, beautiful perfumes. Bought the Dulce Havana for both my husband and my son and they really like it. Bought the Cubano Elegante for myself and love it.
