Such a beautiful family, so warm and genuinely beautiful people who look after us like family!! I can’t recommend enough if you want to have a unique Cuban family experience with lots of fun and laughter then you Must stay in this home!! Loved every second. Gracias Lucía y Gabi

These people are nice. There's not much water pressure on the shower but is not their fault, there really isn't a good water system in town. They try their best using elevated tanks and stuff to help with the water pressure situation. Overall a good experience to stay with them. If you talk to them you'll soon realize they are well educated humble people.

Five stars all around! The listing was perfect for our stay in Trinidad, very comfortable and well situated in the city near important areas like the Plaza Mayor. Lucia was a very gracious and accommodating host, even with our limited Spanish communication skills, and her cooking was top notch. Gabriella was very helpful on the communication front, and the house is filled with her beautiful artwork, we were very impressed. We also really appreciated Yash's detailed input on how to stay and get around in Cuba. We printed his instructions out and carried them around with us like a Bible, because we had no idea what to expect. Definitely follow his advice and try to book your transportation well in advance. All in all, this was one of our favorite stops on our whirlwind honeymoon tour of Cuba!

Lucia and Gaby were the best !! The house is centrally located and our hosts instantely make us feel at home. The room was clean and spacious (+ with AC), the house was charming and the little garden in the back was the cherry on the cake. They gave us some really useful tips to explore the beautiful city of Trinidad. We also really enjoyed the food (they can make you breakfast/lunch and even dinner). The day of our departure we had to leave the house at 6 AM to take a bus, Lucia woke up at 5 to make us breakfast because "There is no way you are leaving at this time on an empty stomach" ! I definitely recommend this place and will come back as soon as I can :)

There's so much I can say about our lovely stay with Lucia. But let me start with Trinidad, the town itself is so magical and pure, just like its people. Lucia welcomed us and helped us right into her home which has an art and design gallery in display where you can appreciate the work and original beauty of Gabriela's creativity. Lucia will welcome you with a smile and you'll feel right at home, she will guide you and feed you "a la carte", the rooms are perfectly furnished and clean, her patio to eat "al fresco", very peaceful, even a bar! EVERYTHING you need she will get for you, either that or she will tell you were to go and where to eat and hook you up with the locals that can get these things. She should run for the major of Trinidad. She's so popular and happy. She rocks! In our short stay, more than just our host she became like a second mom, but the very fun type you want to bring to the club with. Can't wait till I come back. When I do, I will indubitably stay with Lucia and Gabriela. I recommend it 100%, it's the real Cuban experience and the Latin and Caribbean warmth as a bonus. Thank you for everything Cuba and Lucy! 3

Casa Lucia is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in Trinidad. My friend and I stay there for two nights and enjoyed many of the meals cooked by Lucia herself.
The patio in the back is very quiet and comfortable and is a peaceful place to eat and plan your day or rewind from your excursions in the Trinidad area.
Since there are two different rooms in Casa Lucia you have a chance to meet fellow travelers as we did. We met a French traveler and we were able to share a meal with them and connect with them in English. This helps on the entire experience because at Casa Lucia it is a home style feeling where everybody is treated like family, not like a hotel.
Very close walk to the heart of Trinidad it is a place we will certainly return to again.response / report this review -

We loved Lucia and Gabi! They were incredibly welcoming, warm and kind. We had great conversations with them and immediately felt like we were part of the family. They bent over backwards to do anything we needed. The room was comfortable and clean. They cooked us a delicious meal that I still think about. We were a couple of minutes walk from the historic center. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend them to anyone heading to Trinidad.
