Wicked bar. Great ribs and killer reggae / Latin hip hop selection.
We went there for drinks and really enjoyed it. It's a small café/bar with great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. Food looks good as well, but we just went there for some drinks. It has an international vibes, sit there and relax :)
Great spot for breakfast! They open at 8am, so if you are heading to the beach on the T3 you have plenty of time to catch the 9am bus :)
The neighbourhood is a bit busy and dirty, but restaurant is great. Really enjoyed our cocktails and tacos here. I would definitely recommend, it's also easy to get to from the Capital buildings.
This was my favourite of all the little bars/cafes I visited in Old Havana! The staff is friendly and service is great. Drinks are strong too! :D
Great coffee, great service, surprisingly great Italian food. One of my favorite places I ate at in Havana!
A reliable late-night spot for solid grub and cocktails. Pulled pork tacos Way impressed. This place nails it.
My home away from home and start to every day while in Havana. Pork tacos are awesome and so is every other dish there. Get lit on the triple shot reg drinks for $3.50. Since there is no food at the airport I grabbed a baguette here for the trip back and it was so tasty. Def a solid place to link with other travelers too.
I spent 5 days in Havana and went there twice. It's a nice and quiet place in Havana Vieja.
The food and the cocktails are great (specially Caipirinhas and Mojitos). Compared to other places they really put an effort in preparing good cocktails.
The waitress (Ivy) was really nice. She made sure we had a great time. She even called her cousin to get us information on a place we wanted to visit.
Highly recommended.
During my 5 day stay in Havana, came here for breakfast 3 times! Still dream about the mexican eggs. This is a great breakfast spot if you are staying near by.
Amazing food, amazing drinks, and best of all amazing people! We enjoyed the staff most of it. They made us feel very welcome and enjoying the Cuban life and music 😃🎵
Nice bar in havana vieja. Great cocktails and food.
Best casual food in Havana, great staff and great mojito with wonderful decor and tunes.
Good cocktails, prices ok. Quality ok But not amazing. Lovely bar. Great artwork
Great experience. One of the nicest cafés/bistros I've been while in Havana.
A lot of choices in a good quality.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Coffee is OK.
low key, good bartenders at night (the crowd can be a bit too foreigner/hipster/dirty at night for me), great breakfast service in the morning, good people-watching during the day, good prices & selection. A true neighborhood/local/young place in an almost out-of-the-beaten-path area of Havana Vieja. Don't ask for the wifi password, it's only the private cameras network.
Nice place to hang out, watch people walking by, and have something to eat. I loved their tacos from the day menu. Coffee and lemonade are just average. Service is good.
Nice spot for breakfast or lunch, right on Plaza del Cristo.
I came through El Dandy several times with different groups, not always on purpose. Though Habana Viejo is a bit labryhnthian, El Dandy is — evidently — central to an engaging nightlife. Once, we just grabbed beers to go, and that was nice. Mojitos here are also good. A group of three should have no trouble squeezing in at the right moment, but a group of eight will not fit on a Friday night without showing up early.
A place to find a certain kind of earnest foreigners mixing with a rare, hipper set of locals.
Our favorite bar/restaurant in Havana. Great for morning coffee and breakfast, afternoon lunch, and a great bar at night. It's not nearly as touristy as places such as Sloppy Joes or other places, so you get great prices and strong drinks. The waitstaff and bartenders are incredibly friendly, and the type of people who visit the bar at night tend to be more social than those who visit more touristy bars in Havana.
This was a welcome spot to stop off for a morning coffee - they do good breakfasts as well. it was also a convenient meeting place when my friends and I wandered in different directions during our stay in Habana.
