  DO NOT EAT THE FOOD FROM HERE unless its pre-packaged!!! Three days sick from one "ham" and cheese sandwich.

  The airport is too small considering the amount of hotels being built on Cayo Santa Maria. But most disturbing is the money gauging. If you try to pay with Canadian money they charge 50 cents on the dollar. Outrageous. And coming in theto the country the staff are rude and seem to get great enjoyment from confiscating gifts you bring in. Don't even think of bringing anything electronic. They will take it and write a 5 page document about it and not care if you miss the bus.

  Sadly, my bottle of perfume and two small packs of cigarillos went missing from my checked-in luggage 💼 at this little & friendly airport - at the end of the trip to the Cuban 🇨🇺 Republic . Still, I won't allow this unfortunate event to spoil the good memories, I ♥ Cuba 🇨🇺 and the Cubanos :-)

  Arrived and departed from this airport while visiting cuba. There's only one restaurant to order food . Line up was long and the food was average.

  Nice small airport. Very efficient customs and security service. Not much in the departures area but it works.
