At the risk of making this place more crowded (it wasn't crowded) this was a fantastic place to learn to kiteboard. The staff is extremely experienced but not so much that their beginner lessons suffer -- they're attentive to each individual and they make everyone comfortable no matter the skill level.

Even with a rare day of low wind, the 4 nights spent in the cabina were great. Not luxury, but everything you need to be comfortable. the kitchen and fridge were functional and there is a restaurant on site too. the views and the location are simply fantastic.

I arrived struggling to stay up on the board, left feeling very confident of long rides and continued progression.

    Highly recommended.

I stayed here a few times, and this place is a perfect place to crash after a long day of kiting. The accommodations aren't like the Ritz Carlton, but the rooms are clean and the views off of the porches are great.

Terrific spot both on and off the water. The Cabina we stayed in had an unbelievable view, breakfast on the veranda was something i looked forward to daily. The accommodations are clean, functional, and more suited to those capable of dealing with necessities as opposed to luxury. The beach is not pure sand but full of interesting wild life and natural beauty. Kite conditions are unbelievable, we had "light winds" during our nine day stay, i ride strapless surfboard and predominantly on my 5-7M kites!. Generally best suited for those improving or learning but lots here for every one. Flat water with crazy wind for boosting big air, waves on the windier days at high tide, shallow side shore conditions for excellent lessons. Best of all, all the schools on the beach seem to care and respect each other. This good feeling makes this place a rarity and i hope it live on.

Absolutely Loved this place. If you are a kiter that is into Kiteboarding more than staying at an Luxury All-Inclusive Resort than this place is for you. The accommodations are basic but the atmosphere, the staff and the wind is fantastic. We rode anywhere from 4 to 10 m kites and kited every day on our week long trip here. Kent leads and awesome staff of Kite instructors which got our beginner kite wives/fiances and buddies up on the board in a few days. We had over 11 people take lessons and not one of them had a bad experience. These guys run a safe professional shop. Most of the newbies were riding upwind by the end of the trip, others still have some work to do. Wind can be gusty at times but you are guaranteed A LOT of it! Swell gets bigger towards the Island with mostly wave chop riding near shore. I personally wouldn't bring anything larger than a 10 m down here, better yet you can rent right from the beach. We stayed over New Years with a group of 25. We all split up between Cabinas, Villas and Houses. We all loved the weather and the atmosphere. If you can only kite for one day here, I would stop by the Restaurant for their amazing homemade Ice Cream it goes down well after a full day riding! Lucie is very helpful with accommodations we hope to bring down another big group from Minnesota soon! Best part was being able to lay out on the hammock overlooking the pool overlooking the bay where kiters were flying all day while taking lunch breaks (Awesome Views).
