Food was spectacular, however it was the family that owns this special little spot in Costa Rica that made the night fantastic. Sadly, my son was not feeling well due to too much sun. They did everything they could to help him as well. Wonderful family and Amazing Food!! A must if your in the area.

Beautiful location, gorgeous rooms, refreshing salt-water pool and a truly divine place to stay. The restaurant is excellent too. We liked Villa Deevena so much that we extended our stay by another four days, and we ate at the restaurant almost every evening too.

Paradise!
Amazing cuisine with an open atmosphere that looks out over the pool. Menu is very diverse and every dish is visually appealing and tastes so good, you know you have been spoiled by greatness. The Villas are elegant and simple but with all the amenities you desire: hair dryers, shampoo, soaps, air conditioning, private bathroom and shower, and last but not least, wifi. All of the employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Behind the walls of Deevena is paradise and tranquility. The saltwater pool is long and wide with a smaller section for wading. Every Villa looks out onto the pool and diverse gardens. There is always something amazing blooming at Deevena, from various hibiscus to cactus, water lillies, plumeria, and more. 2 minutes from beautiful Playa Negra, 5 -10 minutes from Playa Junquillal, Playa Blanca, and Callejones, within 30 - 40 minutes from Tamarindo and Santa Cruz. I have stayed here several times and will definitely come again.

Spectacular! Lovely decor, warm staff, and delightful food. Made our 19th anniversary dinner very special. Best meal we had in Costa Rica - well worth the bumpy ride to get there.
