I’ve been to this location and to their old location in the shopping area of playa Carmen, that’s the old location and some of the pictures are inaccurate that are posted on here. Anyways, this place is pretty good, the fish is fresh. I got the Poké rice bowl, it was pretty good, just wish they had more sauce options. Other than that this place is good. I haven’t actually had sushi at this location.
This was quite literally the best sushi I've ever tastedquite likely it had been swimming nearby hours before it landed on the plate. Very friendly staff, too.
Such a bad choice..the 60$ Love boat has no creativity, no color.nothing impressive. I would really not recommand this place. The chef seems to be lazy..did nt put anything interesting in our "Love boat".just throw some fish and rice.
Nothing impressive at all. We took the love boat, 42 pieces for something around 80$such a bad choice. No creativity.looks like the person in the kitchen did nt want to work and just throw some left over fish in the plate with some rice to call it sushi. Nothing original, very desapointed for a 100$ dinner.
Pretty good, average for sushi lovers. Decent place, great vibe.
I'm admittedly picky when it comes to sushi, but if I can find great stuff in Cincinnati, I feel like it should be accessible anywhere. This place was okay. The prices weren't crazy high. The service was very good. They had beer and wine, but the bartender didn't start work until 6 (and then hadn't showed up by 6:30) so no one could make me a cocktail. The fish was by no means exceptionally fresh. The selection was interesting but the rolls I tried (recommended by the waitress) just didn't have that taste that really good sushi has when the ingredients are fresh, and the rice is cooked perfectly and the sauces are so good you want to squirt them directly into your mouth It wasn't that. It was just sushi shaped and the ingredients you find in sushi Edible, but nothing special.
Staff was very friendly and it was some of the freshest and tastiest I've ever had
The local fresh catch is tuna and red snapper.. I had a roll; Spicy Tuna, avocado, cucumber and shrimp tempura covered with red snapper, ginger, red onion and scallions very very good!
(Only draw back is its not on the beach dusty Santa Teresa/Playa Carmen main drag)
