High priced restaurant with unpredictable food quality. Nice view from the front porch seating.

The quality is great but are "not permitted" change the sides. Waiter says the plate is with the sides it comes , not allowed any change of sides.
The places is awesome, just behind Liberia's church.

To sum it up - lots of provintial pretense. We ordered "rice with shrimps", which is normally a dish in its own right. Imagine our surprise (and laughing) when it was served with french fries! Rice with fries? Me thinks not.

Moving on Could anyone please explain me why balsamic vinegar was in a spray bottle? Ditto olive oil? Any other restaurant and soda in Costa Rica serves it the way it should be served - in a small glass bottle. It seems they wanted to up the ante but didn't know how. So they threw everything in, including the proverbial kitchen sink.

A few words about the service. The service is really good if you are lucky enough to find one. Most of the time it is absent from the scene - in my case, we had to chase our person around the restaurant just to pay the bill. On the upside - most waiters speak very good English, which helps if you are not comfortable enough ordering in Spanish

The rib eye was good value for the price, which was slightly over $20usd. The reason I came back the next day was for the limonada with basil, it was amazing!

Restaurant looks good and personal is friendly and fluent in English which is rare around here. Burger was cold and my friend asked for a new burger because it had bacon on ( he's Muslim ) and became the same one without bacon even colder!
