2.5 Star + 1 star service = 2 stars.

The service is horrible. The waiter brought us a sandwich made with catchup and mayonnaise, instead of the chicken soup I ordered, despite me using the Spanish words and pointing out what I was ordering from the menu and showing it to him. When I pointed out the mistake, he said it was my mistake. I asked for the menu, but he didn’t bring it back, instead he conferred with his manager, and came back to tell me the soup had been reordered but that we would have to pay for the sandwich. When we told him we were not paying for the sandwich, he said that we had no choice but to pay. When we told him we would be leaving the restaurant unless he took the sandwich away and took it off the bill, he then changed his tune.

I don’t judge service by mistakes being made, but rather how they are handled. Tiquicia failed in this aspect.

On a sidenote, when we were here last week, we saw another tourist arguing the items on the bill when paying. She had been charged an extra $5 for Guacamole which she didn’t order it. She also got the menu and showed them where the confusion occurred how ever they told her she would have to pay this extra amount.

Needless to say, don’t be surprised if they try and fleece you.

Hands down the best local cuisine in Quepos. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and after leaving Quepos to Monteverde we were trying to search for similar restaurants but none came close to this. A true gem. Very cheap eats but healthy, tasty and satisfying.

Very friendly staffs and very fresh seafood. Try the spicy baked lobster. Amazing dish and only costs you like 20 bucks.

The waitress messed up two of our orders and wouldn't fix them without charging us for two new plates. The woman at the register was also incredibly rude and would pretend I wasn't standing right in front of her, waiting to pay for something I didn't want. It's cheap, but don't waste your time.
