  We went down the pacuare river with Chalo (our captain). The rafting takes 4 hours. There is a lunch break and the whole team prepares a nice lunch for everyone. The whole team was very professional. Our 2 boys (8 and 10) participated to everything. We felt safe at all time. This was really an amazing experience: rafting in a breathtaking nature. We saw Toucans and many other birds and animals. We strongly recommend!

  The Tour with Tico's River Adventure was perfect. Roberto pick me up at my hostel @8am. It takes less than an hour to get to the river. The equipment for safety and the raft itself were in a very good condition. Roberto's beloved bus, which took us to the river, was very clean and well maintained. We were in total two rafts and 10 People + 2 Guides. Also we were the first company on the river 😁 Our guides Fabio and Charlo were super friendly and helpful. They are very experienced rafting guides and you feel safe with them.
  The river has class 1 - 4 rapids, it's so much fun and a real Adventure 👌 The landscape in the jungle is breathtaking and unique.
  Fabio and Charlo prepared an excellent lunch on the river bank. The lunch was very delicious - cold buffet with freshly prepared food. Something for everyone and the homemade Guacamole from Fabio was definitely the best.

  I would definitely recommend this company!  It's a small, family owned company and not large and crowded with people. They did a great job!

  My sisters and I had a fantastic time! Great crew, beautiful river. I was scared, but our guide Fabio, was experienced and professional! I would go again in a heartbeat if we get back!

  Tico's River Adventure - Highly recommandable
  
  I've been recommended this operator by my Hostel owner "Ingrid" from the excellent "Spanish by the River". The day with Tico's River Adventure will stay I my memory forever. They picked me up at 7:20 a.m. at my hostel and then we went by bus (45 min.) to the River Pacuare. The guides and their instructions were impeccable and we all enjoyed the ~4 hour long ride in a breathtaking green scenery: Huge trees, walls of green in many many different shades of green. Birds tweeting and flying above us. We encountered tricky water rapids of difficulty level 3 and 4 which demanded all our attention and focus. Fabio and his father habe us a good laugh on the way back home by trading jokes with a Spanish guy. Thank you very much Tico's River Adventure!

  Had a great day of rafting. We just were 3 people and even though we did the rafting. Had great action, a nice lunch in between and a fotographer in a kayak taking pictures of us.

  Excellente journée de rafting organisée par Roberto qui passe vous récupérer à Turrialba à 8h. Plusieurs avantages à passer par cette compagnie locale; déjà vous partez à un ou 2 bateaux seulement alors que les autres partent à 3-5 bateaux, sur les bateaux vous êtes maximum 7, c'est bien mieux que d'être à 9 ou 10.
  Si vous pouvez choisir Chalo comme guide vous allez passer une descente au top. Il anime la descente avec pleins de petites surprises dans les rapides, c'est TOP.
  Le déjeuner est préparé sur place sous forme de buffet, on s'est régalé.
  Vous pouvez même vous faire déposer après l'activité à la station de bus de Siquires pour aller sur la côte caraïbe.
  Une activité à ne pas manquer au Costa Rica!

  Están ubicados en Turrialba, Costa Rica. Los viajes en balsa, Kayak por los ríos son maravillosos. Puedes ir al volcán Turrialba que esta activo desde el 2012 y es una aventura para alta adrenalina o bien al parque Arqueologico Guayabo para avistar aves y conocer un centro religioso precolombino
