A little sketchy to get to, to be honest. We were sort of lead up a outshoot path up an elevator, but you will be pleased by the views from the roof. Wouldn't recommend that food, as it seemed as though it wasn't really made for cooking. Do stay for drinks and the view!

Waiting time was too long. Got there at 7:30 pm, they took our orders at 8, and the food came around 9:30. The drinks were too sweet and tasted horrible. The food was cold and undercooked. We ordered the martina pizza, the seafood casserole, and the BBQ ribs.

The pizza's crust was white, smelled like yeast, and chewy. Also, it was greasy and the provolone cheese smelled spoiled.

As for the sea food casserole it came out 15 minutes after the pizza. The seafood was cold and slimy. The octopus was raw, the mahi mahi was overcooked and tough; the mussel were tasteless, mushy and grainy. The squid was RAW too.

Finally, the BBQ rib order was incomplete. The menu said it had pineapple "pico de gallo" and our order didn't. The ribs were bland, dry, also tasted somewhat spoiled.

Rien de négatif à dire sur ce restaurant. Une très agréable soirée à la française après deux mois de casado, c'est bien agréable. L'accueil, la qualité des plats et la terrasse "sur le toit" (rare au Costa Rica) valent le détour. Commentaire sincère et objectif

The atmosphere and food were great. They serve some seafood, pasta, and pizzas. I lived in Italy for many years and this place does pizzas very well. The prices are high like the other tourist traps in Tamarindo. Happy hour is from 5 to 7pm with buy 1 get 1 free of a select few drinks (sangria and wine being the cheapest at 2500crc). Live music is played on some nights, and views of a small part of town and the ocean are great.
We will not return because the bill was overcharged twice in the same evening. Drinks were supposed to be 2500crc and we were charged 4000, and some were not provided buy 1 get 1 free because "we ordered after happy hour", which we did not. The bill was corrected twice after showing the menu listed prices. If you ensure you get the advertised prices then the place is worth visiting at happy hour.
