  The Best Party Hostel Ever!!! The Lazy Loft does not hide the fact that it is a fun place to be. They even have a Party Meter on the front desk that clearly lets you know if you want chill beach hostel then Mon-Wed but Thurs-Sun are fun and loud. With live bands and Djs until late at the Reggae beach bar downstairs. But the free coffee and turquoise water 3meters out your door make up for the lack of sleep. The staff was great and were always down to help. The kitchen was useful and the showers were good. They have lockers and cameras and a staff member always hanging out so security was good.
  Random* The Bar downstairs has amazing food and the best Burger ever!
  
  So my advise is, if you are looking for a great place to meet people? The Lazy Loft is your spot. There is always someone to chat with from some fun place. I will be back next year for some goodtimes and a burger.

  Excellent relaxed hostel. Great bar and restaurant underneath. Located on the beachfront of a very swimmable beach, unlike some other hostels. Could do with newer bedding and the late night parties on Thurs - Sun mean no sleep until 2am.

  If you're in Puerto Viejo to party: this is your place to be. The most popular bar is just underneath the rooms with loud live music, fancy cocktails and delicious home made fries. You don't get much sleep as the music really is loud, but usually stops playing at around 2-3 am. The room was very simple, as were the shower and toilets. We enjoyed the terrace and the proximity of the beach. I can't judge how the kitchen looked as I never set foot in there. The staff is really nice and relaxed, you'll usually find someone when you go looking for them. It's just a place to relax at day and party at night. If you wish for a quiet and solitary Hostel, you should find another.

  Nice Staff and view but that's itdirty rooms and kitchen, terrible beds in dorm, hot and loud. no coffee, and the security is really questionable since the door is opened all night and everybody can enter Lockers - if you use a screwdriver you can unscrew all 3 tiny screws within 10seconds max to open the locker and screwdricer is available in the middle of the placeNo earplugs will help you with music from bar so don't go there to rest :)
