My friend and I walked into Drifters Ink today to get some last minute tattoos before our vacation trip was over. Levi was very nice and squeezed us both in even though we didn’t have appointments. He was very accommodating ,fair with pricing and gave us exactly what we wanted . Look forward to stopping by again if I’m ever in the area..

I could not have asked for a more professional, welcoming, "easy" first tattoo experience. I chose Drifter's Ink after reading all of the outstanding reviews; and boy did they not disappoint! The facility was exceptionally clean, open, and comfortable for not only me, but my husband whom was waiting by my side for the three hours it took Levi to complete his masterpiece! It took me many years of contemplating and "finding" that perfect piece of art that would be a part of me for the rest of my life, and I am BEYOND thankful that I followed my intuition and allowed my soul to finally settle at Drifter's Ink with Levi. Levi and is wife, Anne-Marie, made us feel so at home and at ease throughout the entire process, and I appreciated their professional input so very much. The final product is beyond what I ever could have imagined, and what it represents to me will forever bring me comfort, joy, and absolutely amazing memories of our trip to Costa Rica. If you are interested in receiving ink in Costa Rica, Drifter's Ink will not disappoint! Thanks again, Leviwe will return!

Such an awesome shop and experience!! My husband and I went and got tattoos on our last day In Tamarindo! Levi and his wife are super awesome people! Levi’s tattoo work is exceptional, he’s amazing at line work and we are extremely happy with our tattoos! Can’t wait to go back and get some more work done!

I've been to the shop a few times now - had tattoos done by both Matt & Levi. They're both exceptional artists! They know what they're doing and they do it well The shop is beautiful, modern & as clean as any I've seen. They're super friendly & accommodating, frequently going in early or tattooing on their days off to get people in before they leave town.
I'll definitely be back for more! And I'll highly recommend them to anyone I meet. Definitely your best stop for a tattoo in Tamarindo!response / report this review -

The review. How odd a feeling is it, in just a few words, to capture and distill a life-changing experience? How can I not at least try, when the brilliant outcome of said life-changer makes me grin from ear to ear every time I look at it? If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear Levi tattooed liquid pura vida into my skin.
You’re at ease the moment you step foot in the door. Levi welcomes you with a smile so infectious and a handshake so firm you know he’s undoubtedly a master of his craft; you know this because a person only reaches his level of contagious happiness by living out their passion. One look around the studio reveals the meticulous measures in place to ensure the health and safety of every drifter who’s lucky enough to find themselves at The Drifter’s Ink. I am fortunate to report my name was added to the appointment log book, December 14, 2017.
As the feather quill took form on my forearm, Levi and I recounted our respective chronological paths that led us to our present coordinates on the spinning orb. Then the lovely Anne-Marie walked in. A fellow writer, we connected on a level only wordsmiths can. It is easy to admire them both—talented artists speaking their truth, spreading light and love.
I am now the very proud owner of a madly gorgeous piece of art I carry with me wherever I go. The memory of how it came to be lives in the corner of my mind reserved for moments of awe, and for the people and places I share them with.

I LOVE the tattoo Levi did for me! Had an amazing experience at Drifter's. Levi did a fantastic job, everything from start to finish was perfect. The shop is beautifully maintained, clean, and bright, and everyone that works there is very friendly. Levi is extremely talented, and I would highly recommend him.

Levi and Anne Marie were friendly and kind from the get go. My sister, a friend, and I all wanted to get small tattoos to remember our trip. Even though we were walk-ins they fit us in and got all three of our tattoos done in a couple hours. The shop was clean and Levi sterilized and opened everything in front of us. The art I had added to my words was beautiful and he matched the styling of my other tattoo. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone visiting or living in Tamarindo.

Best tattoo place in Tamarindo. Levi is so knowledgeable and detail oriented . He did an amazing job. He also tattooed my friend and her daughter and they are soooo happy.

Levi and Anne Marie were super friendly and very accommodating to our group of four. Shop is super clean and Levi was very professional. All of our tattoos came out exactly as we had asked. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality piece of art.

Levi and his shop were amazing! He was very friendly and made sure we felt comfortable. My sister, her boyfriend, and myself all had tattoos by him and they all turned out perfectly. He put in a lot of effort drawing out what we had described and taking his time tattooing it. This was my 7th tattoo and my 7th tattoo artist and he was by far the best tattooist I have ever had. Thank you, Levi!!

Levi is an amazing tattoo artist! He's done 4 out of 5 of my tattoos and will being doing another one in a couple of weeks. He's the only one I trust! Very clean and very talented. And he's a sweetheart to boot!

It was great meeting Levi and Anne Marie in Tamarindo. I had a 10 year old tattoo that was badly faded and poorly done that I had wanted to get covered up. I told Levi what I was looking for during a conversation we had outside a restaurant and when I arrived at the shop an hour later he had an original piece all sketched out and ready to go! It was my sixth tat and 3rd artist. I'm impressed by his talent, professionalism, cleanliness of the shopeverything! Already planning on #7! Thanks Levi!
