I go to the Baker Bean all the time. Prices down here are somewhat high as we live in a coastal beach side community and tourist dollars drive up the price for the local economy; however, that being said, Armondo is the owner and he has directed his staff to make very good food. I meet there every Saturday morning with a group of, shall we say, older gringo’s and BS our way through breakfast and Armondo is generous enough to allow us the use of his space.

Not accomodating at all to vegans. Not even any plant based milk to go with the coffee and No dishes on the menu. Good Tap Kombucha.

Very good pizza. Cappuccino also very good. Pass on the bagel sandwich. I'm afraid bagels in Costa Rica will just be disappointing for me, but nice that someone tried!!! Great service : )

Very nice people and food! Quick service, good portions in a cozy atmosphere. The cook even came out to ask how we liked our food! Nice restaurant for an unpretentious dinner, lunch or breakfast.

I went here for breakfast a few times and to buy bagels. The bagels were really good. The breakfast plate in general was pretty good. The bagels are great. A lot of the locals went to buy their food.

Fantastic pizza and great service. When the rain started pouring and we forgot our umbrellas the owner was kind enough to walk us to our car with umbrellas for us.

Great Italian, pizza was okay, and the coffee was Great! We enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese and coffee every morning for about $6.

Needed a bite to eat after a long day of travel and this place was perfect!! Pizza was great, staff was on point and beer was cold. It was exactly what the doctor ordered! We picked up bagels and pastries for breakfast as well. You can't go wrong here.
