Only stayed one night, but the room was very clean and comfortable. The setting is amazing: nestled at the base Miravalles but with splended of Rincón de la Vieja across the plain. Staff is lovely and the site is awesome. Buses pass from guayabo and la fortuna daily. Bring a family or a group of friends, plus food to grill!

Tuvimos un desafortunado altercado con el tobogán grande la vez que fui con mi familia pero que calidad de personas son los dueños 👌 nos atendieron de lo más bien, nos dieron atención de Primeros Auxilios, nos ayudaron bastante.!

Many pools of hot springs water, two slides, a kiddie pool, fumaroles about 200 meters away from the pools, lots of shade and places to sit. Cafe with typical and fast food. My favorite hot springs near Liberia.

This place was very nice. Stayed with a family of five. We had a cabin with a kitchen. The rooms were clean Best to pick up food in Bagaces before coming up. Guayabo might food but not sure. The hotel also has a food to serve.

When you see the pools when you first arrive it looks disappointing. Concrete and full of leaves the day i was there. Behind the rooms there is a short path over a bridge to the warm pools. Some are small others are big. There is a slide and one pool with a diving board. There are bathrooms and lockers around the pools along with picnic tables.

There is a trail that leads to a mud pools and landscape that looks like Mars. There is bubbling and steam vents. Watch where you step in the mud bath there are some hot spots. Advise enter were you should and go slow.

On the path to the mud pools you will pass a house. There is a DOG that will bite. It bit my son. The owner came out and tied the dog down. I would have rather have killed it.
