Favorite Mexican place! Great service. (Don't even go to the nearby fast food joints!)

We really enjoyed our lunch at Taqueria Mazatlan. We drove straight from the airport after getting our car rental, before leaving town. We enjoyed a very nice meal, sampling a variety of Mexican inspired dishes including the chimichanga, nachos, and a variety of tacos. Their jugos are yummy and the prices are very reasonable (on the low side). Parking is in the shopping center.

Great Experience. My first night in town - I didn't want to do American Fast food - but wasn't ready for full on Costa Rica Cuisine. This place is great authentic Mexican. Got a plate of 3 beef street tacos. AMAZING!

The ladies working there were patient with my broken spanish and very very sweet. And Price was great too!

    I might go back tomorrow.

We went to this little restaurant to have a quick dinner, but we got so much more!! Excellent service, thank you very much to the friendly waiter that help us with the Spanish traduction.
The foods was amazing I had the Tacos Mexicanos and there were the best tacos in Costa Rica! Don't forget to ask for their homemade spicy sauce.
The prices were perfect as well. The ambiance was nice and relax! I wish I could go back for more!

Don't go here. Food was ok, but the waiter ripped us off. Our meal cost $30 for my wife, my son and I. We have been in Costa Rica for five days eating at all kinds of restaurants and paying in dollars. Everywhere we have gone, have been incredibly fair with the exchange rate. I handed this guy $40 to pay for our $30 meal and he gave me the equivalent of $5.44 back. When I questioned him about it he rudely said sorry that's our exchange rate. I said we have gone to many restaurants and none of them rip us off like this. He said that wasn't their policy. Needles to say, it's not worth it. Go to McDonalds across the street which was very tasty and half the price, with a fair and honest exchange rate policy.

Spicy hot condiment and filling burrito. Could be accompanied by additional sauce. Friendly staff.

First off there is no such thing as quick service in Costa Rica they are all pretty lazy and on their own time so don't expect anything quick. Got the chicken burrito might as well of got a fish burrito cause that's what it tasted like. Very very slow service. Almost got up and
walked out after eating cause it took 30mins to get the check.

Great place in Liberia for a quick meal.
The food is tasty and something different from the normal Tico fare. They have a lunch special from 12 -3pm. For ¢2500 you can get lunch with a drink. The central location close to the main intersection in Liberia and the fast food prep make for an ideal place to grab lunch if your looking eat something tasty and get going again.
