  One of the few independent supermarkets left, with a really good track record. You will find many things not available anywhere else, particularly at the fresh vegetables area: fresh green pepper, figs, many varieties of mushrooms quite interesting indeed!

  Great selections coming from US. Just he Japanese Eggplant which is tinier than local ones, cost about a dollar each! Where in the local feria cost the same for a kilo of it.

  They have gormet foods you don 't find in other markets, however regular foods may sometimes be a bit more.
  They also have a small cafe at very reasonable prices with a gormet desert imported from France. No annoying televisions and clean and acessible public bathrooms.
  The people who work there generally give good service. This is the best supercado in Costa Rica.

  I was completely impressed with the new Sarreto. In every department I was approached and offered help. There was no one else in line when I checked out and the cashier unloaded my cart. this has never happened before in any store in Costa Rica. The store is ultra clean and very well laid out. The coffee shop is superb.

  One of the best supermarkets in San Jose. Excellent products. Very good selection of alcoholic beverages, especially wines.
