Convinient but be prepared for high prices.
Okay variety but less than 50% of items are price labelled. It's Very annoying to shop when you don't know what you are paying for products, feels like a way to overcharge customers.
Justo a la entrada del parque.
OK selection. Doesn't take cards.
Buen súper chino
Everything you need while in Cahuita
Since I stayed in a rental house for a week, I shopped for groceries and ate at home more often than not in Cahuita. Of the 3 grocery stores I found , this one had the most variety and sustained me with 1 stop. This store had some fresh produce (plantains green and ripe) my favorite fruit mamos (are like lychee) and small variety of veggies. Also bought eggs (unrefrigerated here in Costa Rica but seems fine), rice, bottled water, canned fish (salmon, tuna) and local potato chips. Prices were as good as any of the others here as long as you get local, not US brands. None of the employees spoke English but one younger guy stocking shelves was very kind and helpful with my attempts at speaking Spanish.
