Cheap eats in La Fortuna. Pricing was reasonable. Takes US dollars, Costa Rican money and credit. We had the chicken with spicy garlic sauce and beef with tomatoes. The food is very authentic Costa Rican cuisine. The flavors were so good!

This was the worst meal we have eaten in Costa Rica. I don’t know what the other reviewers were eating, but the fish is not fresh and gave my girlfriend a massive stomachache to the point she was doubled over in pain and may still yet throw up. I had the veggie casada and it was not as good as other places I have been in Costa Rica. The vegetables were definitely not fresh. They tasted rubbery and maybe were either old or frozen previously. The mashed potatoes were gross, somewhat liquidy and flavorless. We tried to feed or leftovers to a cat on the street and it wouldn’t even eat it. We are hoping a stray dog will eat it, but don’t blame it if it won’t. The guava juice is just juice from a bottle watered down to the point it just tastes like vitamin c powder in water with no guava aroma. This cost us $20 US and was not at all worth it. You can find much better food at other places our favorites were Terra Mia and at Kappa Sushi. If you want to end up with a sub-par meal and a terrible stomachache and unable to do anything else for the day or evening eat here. Also, the staff were not at all friendly or nice. I think this place must have changed a lot for the worse since the other reviewers were here. We are suspicious of whether or not the other reviews are authentic.

Honestly was just exploring and discovered this place. The owner was EXTREMELY kind and chatty. I recommend this place hands down also make sure you try the pineapple -cocconut shake!

A small typical Soda place. Serving a verity of Costa Rican food. Take the casdos for the real feel. Good food, Good service at a very low cost. One of the cheapest places in Costa Rica I would say. Don't forget to take the smoothies they are delicious!

My wife and I found the spot here on Google, and we confirm the excellent reviews on here. The prices are amazing, the food was so delicious, and the staff were warm and friendly. They have menus in English and Spanish, and the atmosphere was very cool. I know the spot is popular with tourists, but it felt like we were eating where the locals eat. If that's the kind of thing you prefer then this is the spot for you!

Come before 7pm, but great food. Family of 5 big eaters under 50 USD for a huge dinner with milkshakes even. Tasty typical food as they call it.

If you are looking for a friendly and tasty place in La Fortuna, this is your place. Beautiful, fresh casados that come with plenty of vegetarian options. Also super affordable—about $8.00 US for enough food for two people. A must-visit!

Pros: food was amazing!! Wanted to order more :)
The two ladies working there were friendly.
Very authentic atmosphere and the place was kept clean.
Cons: it did take a while for us to be served and the food to come out.

Great little cozy restaurant. Very kind and friendly employees. They greeted us kindly as soon as we entered the restaurant. The service was great and efficient. The food was excellent tasting and very affordable. Definitely a great place to take the whole family or grab something to go on the run. Well worth the money and the visit!!!

Came here because of the great reviews on google. Our waitress is so sweet!! So kind and professional. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. The food was beyond delicious and the portions are huge!

Portions are large and food is full of flavor. Best of all the price is right. Not expensive at all. Everyone in the place seemed to be drinking a shake so we got one too. It was AMAZING! The language barrier was not an issue. The ladies that were working were very attentive.
