Hands down my favorite restaurant in Puerto Viejo. The food was delicious and the service was great! Kid is and her family have a wonderful establishment. One that I will surely miss.
Good food and extremely attentive staff. A bit pricey (4900 for beef fajitas with rice and beans) for a soda, but it has higher higiene standards than most. The beef I had was on the chewy side and the plantain a bit dry and fatty, but overall nice Carribeaan flavour. Cards accepted.
Everything was fine. You can get a solid casados.
Wonderful food, gracious service and very reasonable prices! ¡Pura Vida!
Good food, pleasant service and decent prices. Good vegetarian options The smoothies are delicious.
Good choice for vegetarian food, all the staff are lovely and they sell local made chocolate which is high quality. Prices are reasonable and wifi available
The best patacones in puerto viejo.
Had the fish with lidia’s sauce and it’s just amazing.
The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is so authentic you feel that you’re eating with a costa rican family.
For people who love beer with their fish, there is no beer in this place though
Very nice place to eating some good food. The staff are very friendly, check it out you'll like it!
Amazing food. Place is simple. Staff very attentive and helpful. Recommended.
Best rice n' beans ever! Great service and good food and not too expensive. Since it's a popular place, it can get crowded.
This is a great place for disfrute a good Caribbean foods. I recommended.
Delicious pollo caribeño and smoothies. Great service. Do not miss their delicious coconut cookies! We’ll go back to buy some more before leaving
Best West Indian food outside of Limon! Staff were welcoming, just like Ms. Lidia. We ate there twice while in Puerto Viejo! Shout out to Lidia's Place. Pura Vida!
Proud Tica
Friendly service. They were happy to tell me all about the jackfruit and make a meal recommendation. I tried the grilled fish fish with a jackfruit smoothie and they tasted well balanced in flavor. Nothing extra needed! It's not overpriced and feels authentic, not aiming for tourists. I spent $15-20 which seems below average for a good dinner in Puerto Viejo.
FANTASTIC FOOD! Also, good prices, great location (quiet, but only a couple blocks from the main street of downtown Puerto Viejo). Really relaxed and fresh atmosphere (o sea, abierto y bien fresco y con buena sombra).
One of my new favorites in the area. I recommend the pollo caribeño and rice & beans con pargo entero. Also, the hiel (aka Agua de Zapo in other restaurants) is delicious and refreshing!
Every dish we ordered was delicious. All visitors should visit Lidia's Place for their first dish in Puerto Viejo! The staff is inviting and receptive to all who visit.
Great food, the natural water was so tasteful, but I hated banana at that point.
WOW! This place is unreal. It lives up to the reviews. The food is out of this world, some of the best I've had in Costa Rica. The staff is so friendly and I love the picnic shared-table style of the side room/extension. Go here!
What a lovely 😊 friendly little restaurant. food is like good home cooking, plus very good portions.
Mixed fruit drinks are great along with the prawn salad and Caribbean chicken. Prices are very reasonable compared to other over priced restaurants in the area. Would not give this place a miss if your in town.
