A little off the beaten path yet a gem among all the local restaurants/sodas. The waitress described each dish in English and friendly to teach Spanish pronunciations. One of the descriptions included "how my momma makes it". I was immediately impressed. Momma was in the kitchen 😊. Need i say moreall our dinners were phenomenal. No Regrets. Thank you momma Johanna ❤.
Lovely little restaurant. Service and food very good.
This place is a bit up the road, but keep walking and you will find it White fish and sea bass were tasty, but were heavily covered in sauce which covered up any flavour of the actual fish. I think it was frozen anyways. Not the biggest pieces of fish either. Rice had nice coconut flavour.
Rice and beans was tasty and really good but not spicy
Delicia de Rice and beens
This may have been the best sea bass I've ever had. The sauce just takes it over the top.
First, they didn't have some of their dishes available. The only red meat was beefsteak. That came out as hard as a rock. No one asked how I like my steaks cooked, and I waited 40 min for it. The waitress wasn't rude but I can't say she was pleasant. Food was also very very fat, coated in oil. And the prices are just like the rest of the sodas, if not more. Not going there again.
Went late Sunday night. The lobster was on special and was delicious but the chefs sea bass was stupid good. I wanted to rub the sauce all over my face so I would taste it for the rest of the night
On New Year's Eve, 2015 we had the most amazing meal of our entire Costa Rico trip. Lobster is not on the menu but you have to ask if they have it. It was amazing. The spices and favors in everything our family of 5 ate was heavenly. Even the hot sauce on the table was delicious which seems quite rare in CR.
