This place is what Costa Rican food is. Not Gastro-Rican but Tico food. Casados, Garlic Fish and there is a surprise Free dessert!! Drop the fancy places, try this out.

Been here twice. Mouldy food, filthy floors. They brought banana bread as complimentary dessert but the bananas were mouldy. We pointed it out to the employee; he took them away and came back claiming it was just sugar. He should have just apologized instead of lying. Washroom door has a ramp, but it doesn't seem to be wheelchair accessible as it is very steep.

The place looks run down. At the end they brought out banana bread for desert and it had mold on it. When we pointed it out he took it back and brought another piece, and tried to lie to us about how it was just sugar. It was clearly mold. It had strands and fibers. Sugar doesn't have that I added a picture for documentation. Also, I don't think my plate was washed very well before it was brought out because there seemed to be some dried food stuck to it, and I didn't have the plate for long enough to have anything dry.

Delicious traditional costa rican food! The prices are great as well compared to the restaurants on the main strip. You also get a free slice of banana chocolae cake with any dish!
