Great barbecue, which was unexpected in Costa Rica. Good value for the money and a friendly atmosphere. Service was very good both times I went.

When you want some southern smoked meat this is the place to go. Ribs, brisket, or chicken is really good. Just past Perlas in Potrero. Jill and Amy (mother-daughter)and tremendous staff will take good care of you.

Memphis BBQ here in Potrero
It was tasty with great sides. We had the sampler with pulled pork, ribs and brisket and it was very good. The sauces were nice with one standard tomato base and one spicy vinegar.
They offer pecan pie for dessert too which was a treat.
It's a little off the road so look for the Super Wendy Mercado and it's set behind the auto garage there.
Worth a try if you are missing BBQ

Very good service. Our waitress, although she seemed a little new to the place, was very pleasant and accommodating. The owner also took the time to introduce herself which was very nice. The food, on the other hand, was not up to our expectations. The briskets were cold and not very tasty. The ribs were tasty and tender and served with a good BBQ sauce but they had a lot of cartilages. Finally, the pulled pork was a little too lean and served with a sauce that tasted a little too much like vinegar. The only thing that really stood out was the home made fries. The entertainment by Darin Talbot was not exactly my style but he was still funny and entertaining. I would probably go back for drinks but not for the food.

We both had the baby back rib special and they were amazing. The plates came out and we didn't realize that each order was a FULL rack of ribs PLUS 2 sides each. They were super tender and perfectly spiced. If I didn't finish the entire rack I would have ordered dessert. Oh well, gives us the perfect excuse to come back tomorrow night!!! Jill the owner and Orlando our server were both awesome!! Very personable and great service!!

Had the 4 meat combo for 2 of us. The brisket and chicken wings were excellent, the pulled pork and baby back ribs very good. Topped it off w/ a little brownie a la mode which was again perfect size for 2. Owner was there and very friendly. Staff was exceptionally attentive and we didn't have to wait for water, drink refills, etc. Overall excellent experience.

everything we've ordered had been awesome. But go on Monday for the live blues music. Great owners, their card machine was down so they told us to just stop by the next day to settle up if we wanted.

Stopped in for take out, super friendly people and owner. Enjoyed the food, very good. Would be 5 stars but for some reason we ended up with pulled pork instead of the brisket we ordered.

Great BBQ. Friendly and helpful staff. Owner was on site and the whole nite there was great. Our group did the sampler platter and quarter chicken. The brisket was tender and melted in your mouth. The pulled pork and runs were perfect. The chicken nice sauce and also delicious. The sides especially the Tater salad and fries another home run.

I would have never imagined to find the best brisket of my life anywhere in Costa Rica, but this place wins by a landslide. The meat was so tender it would fall apart as I picked it up with a fork and the flavor was amazing. The service is exceptional and the owners came by to check on everything. I also tried their Guaro Sour which was so good I went out and bought the ingredients. Get the brisket platter!

The baby back ribs were amazing. The chicken wings were also very good. We went on a Monday night so the blues music was great. The owners were very personable and made the experience a great time.
